GEIS hosted its 2025 annual workshop with keynote presentations from Dhanaraj Thakur of the Center for Democracy and Technology and Jo Lukito of the University of Texas at Austin. The workshop featured lightning talks, poster sessions, and discussions of emerging research in misinformation, political communication, and information security. The event continued GEIS’s commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-institution engagement.
